Privacy Policy

How C2C Trade Portal LLC collects, uses, and shares information. This is the Platform’s policy, not a contractor’s customer contract.

Effective September 1, 2026. This is the Platform’s policy, not a contractor’s customer contract. Contractors who use the Platform are not C2C.

This policy describes how C2C Trade Portal LLC (“C2C,” “we,” “the Platform”), a Florida limited liability company organized under Chapter 605, Florida Statutes, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the C2C Trade Portal website and application. Independent contractors who use the Platform are not C2C. This policy is the Platform’s policy, not a contractor’s customer contract.

1. Who this covers

  • Contractors and their crews who create an account and run their business on the Platform.
  • Homeowners and other customers whose information a contractor enters, or who contact a contractor through the Platform.
  • Anyone who opts in to job-update text messages.

2. Information we collect

Account and business information. Name, business name, email, phone, login credentials, license numbers and insurance details a contractor provides, and billing-contact information for the contractor’s subscription to the Platform.

Job records the contractor enters. Customer name, service address, phone, email, job notes, photos, schedules, estimates, invoices, material lists, and similar records the contractor chooses to store.

Text-message opt-in. A mobile number, and the fact that the person agreed to job-update texts, only when that person has opted in. We record the opt-in (including verbal consent: who asked, when, and that the person said yes) and later STOP or HELP replies.

Technical data. IP address, browser type, device, and log data needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not ask contractors to upload customer Social Security numbers, and we do not run background checks, credit checks, or criminal-history checks unless a specific check is separately and explicitly described.

3. How we use it

  • To provide the Platform: accounts, scheduling, clients, work records, estimates, and invoices the contractor keeps in the product.
  • To send job-status text messages the recipient opted into: visit window, crew on the way, and job done. Not marketing.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse, and investigate reports of unsafe or unlawful use.
  • To communicate with the contractor about their own account and subscription.

4. SMS

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Opt-in data is used to deliver the messages you agreed to and to honor STOP. Consent is not a condition of hiring a contractor. Recipients must be 18 or older. See also Terms § 7.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who host the Platform, send email, or deliver text messages (including our SMS carrier), bound to use it only to provide that service.
  • The independent contractor whose job the record belongs to, and the customer on that job, as needed to perform the work the customer requested.
  • Law enforcement or another party when required by law, or when we in good faith believe disclosure is necessary to address an emergency or a credible safety threat.
  • A successor if the business is sold, and only under this policy or a policy that is at least as protective.

C2C does not employ the contractors on the Platform and does not process, hold, or intermediate payments between a homeowner and a contractor. Payment runs directly between the homeowner and the contractor’s own business. That contractor’s payment processor is not C2C’s processor.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and job records for as long as the contractor’s account is open and as needed to operate the Platform, meet legal duties, and resolve disputes. SMS opt-in and opt-out records are kept long enough to prove consent and to honor STOP. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices

  • Text STOP to opt out of job-update texts. Text HELP for help.
  • Contractors can correct account and job records inside the product.
  • To ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information C2C holds, use the privacy contact published at c2ctradeportal.com. We may need to keep some records the contractor is required to retain, or that we need for security, fraud, or legal claims. Deleting a customer’s record from a contractor’s job file is done by that contractor, because they entered it and they are the business the customer hired.
